riverside bistro.

HOHOHO! am now sitting in a restaurant in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, waiting for my lunch to be served! haha. interesting huh? =) haven't used the Internet in a few days and I don't feel like I need to anyway. heh. there's free internet for customers at the restaurant but it's in a public place...who cares! lol.

anyway, my week here has been great! although I seriously have no idea what the patients who come in are talking about, it doesn't matter. I'm quite happy sitting in on consultations where all I do is just smile and listen intently although I'm making no sense of it at all. =)

this week I'm at Dr Vra's eye clinic in Klein Klang. it's really interesting sitting in with Mrs Natalia (yes sis lol) who is an excellent ophthalmologist who speaks fluent Khmer even though she was from Ukraine. =) I'm really enjoying it!

met another medical student who's here from the UK, but he's working with Dr Sarom this week and I'll be working there as well next week!

anyways, the weather here is actually quite nice! cooling as it's going into the winter season soon, the sun is hot but it's quite breezy. yeah. =) accommodation's great, no need to stay in a guesthouse...AND there is air-con AND the laundry is done AND the meals are cooked! =) AWESOME!!!

well...it's another month or so to go before I head back. am looking forward to the next few weeks here! =)
