MIA. been busy.

weekend acutes are too tiring for me.
at least I kinda had a choice if I wanted to stay or go.
well, technically I didn't, but whatever.

reasons to leave:
1. I'm a (useless) TI, not (reliable) HS.
2. I take too long to clerk a patient.
3. I'm not paid (not even TI grant for goodness sake).
4. I'm not supposed to work 12 days in a row (like they care).

why I should've stayed:
1. to impress my Consultant.
2. to get more practice seeing patients.
3. to improve my management skills.
4. to learn to become a better HS (YEAH RIGHT).

ended up leaving anyway.
definitely don't handle stress well.
especially not when I'm tired on top of that.

and the Registrar told the Consultant I left early.

like at 8.30pm.
on Sunday evening.
after starting at 8am.
and after turning up everyday for ward rounds.

I never, ever meet anyone's expectations.

8am-11pm.
effective, efficient.
know many things, if not everything.

incompetent like nobody's business.

I wonder why I'm doing Medicine.
