Dream - written 27th September 2008
It stood, silent in the night
Darkness surrounding it before
Moonlight pierced through
The clouds
Revealing its silhouette
How still it was
Unmoving in the wind
The skies started to clear
Stars now seen
Oh how they twinkled
Winking their presence to the world
Yet it was still there
Standing, undistracted
With a single focus in mind
No one, nothing
Could stop it now
Finally, inhaling
It stretched out its wings
Silver in the moonlight
Gazing down at the world
It leapt from the hill
Soaring in the wind
Dream took flight.
