do you see?

I wonder if you see the stars tonight? how they dot the sky and happily blink away, oblivious to everything. or maybe it's because they have disappeared into nothingness by now?

life's been pretty good since the last time this was active. =) (wonder if some people check here often and are disappointed to find a lack of updates? hmm...)

assuming that I passed my Psych VIVA with PD (cos I was apparently asked to sit the Distinction exam but obviously I wouldn't know if they put anything in my pigeon hole, seeing how I'm away)! consultants must have liked me too and gave my PASAF a PD or thereabouts LOL.

almost coming to the end of my rural GP run, have been in Hanmer Springs for 2 weeks plus now, and another 2 and a half days of work next week then Med Sch is ALL OVER! *gasp* really enjoying my stay here at the backpackers (apart from snorers and Pepper the cat waking me up at 6am...!) as well as my placement at the medical centre. only thing left is to do my assignment...=P procrastinating as usual.

have been soaking in the thermal pools for most evenings of the week, seeing how I get a free pass! but find it a bit awkward seeing patients I saw at the clinic there at the pools. =S and also seeing them along the street. don't think I can work in a rural setting...BUT, I really like the continuity of care as a GP. maybe that's my calling?

went for an EXTREMELY LONG WALK today...walked to Clarence Valley Road then climbed up Mt Isobel track to reach the top of the mountain ridge. however, due to various reasons I didn't reach the summit of Mt Isobel! but glad that I walked almost to the top anyway about 1000+m hee hee. saw the waterfall on the way down using another route, but was exhausted. took me 4 and a half hours of uphill-downhill walking + a few breaks + some photo-taking (+ sun exposure...). thankfully, a couple (and their daughter) gave me a ride from McIntyre Road back to town! =D THANK GOD FOR KIND STRANGERS!!!

explored Conical Hill last week as well. very nice day for a walk as it was rainy and cool. fun fun! got a bit "lost" on the way back (although you can't get lost in such a small town!) cos I didn't have a proper map but eventually made it back. lol. AND AND...WENT QUADBIKING the day after that!!! exciting times!!!

I suppose that's all that's happened since I last wrote, isn't it? can't remember LOL. oh, had a post I started and thought about while doing Psych but never got around to writing it. maybe I'll work on it this weekend cos it's only Friday today but a public holiday.

YEAH I realise I waffle A LOT. haha. and I'm good at writing/doing essays/assignments last minute. good points...=P
