mid-week update!

whoa, just did my first dissection lab yesterday...on a cadaver. the scapel is so sharp, it's scary...but yah, just opened up the back of the knee joint, nothing much. realised that there can be quite a lot of adipose tissue a.k.a fat in places where you least expect it. hmm...so much for learning my anatomy well, I couldn't identify the different structures when I dissected the knee...had to ask the demonstrator. oh, I didn't do the whole dissecion on my own, we did it in a group...=)

well, I had 2 tests to do this week, I did one yesterday...and I passed! woohoo! =P as for the other one, though I have 3 chances to do it, I only have today and tomorrow left to give it a try. I haven't exactly finished my revision yet, but think I'll give it a shot today, see how it goes, then do it again tomorrow if I really don't pass today's. yah...

it's so cold today. seems like winter's really coming already. yesterday was worse, Dunedin hit the national low of 12 degrees Celsius. man...it was raining, and the cold was exacerbated by the wetness. I didn't like it at all. was trying to keep warm in the flat but becos I chose not to use my heater, no matter what I did, I still felt cold. it was only after I took my shower and crawled under my duvet that I gradually warmed up and drifted off into dreamland...haha.

hmm...had 8am starts the past 3 days. it's so hard trying to get up when your bed is nice and warm. BUT I made it for all the lectures, though twice I went to the wrong lecture theatre, along with quite a few of the other students. thankfully I made it to the right one in the nick of time though, so that was ok. =)

yup, that's about it from me. I'm happy. haha...that was random. ;)
