birthday dinner @ Cafe Cartel!
so I went to Tampines Mall with my family for dinner. and nope, that was not all I had for dinner. haha. that was dessert...4 of us ordered 3 main dishes and we shared...in fact, we were all so full after that. the servings were like...too much for one person to finish! unless you're really hungry. haha...on a more serious note, I wonder how things will be like when I go back...things here I mean. like, nothing changed much this whole year, well, not much. I did notice some differences though, in attitudes and stuff towards each other. maybe if I can just ignore whatever's going on here...BUT HOW CAN I? argh.
Bel, Huiling, Rach, me. =)
ok, this had nothing to do with my birthday but yeah. we met up one fine day at the newly renovated Lorong Ah Soo market for lunch. shared 5 dishes. it was good...didn't really spend much time talking and stuff but it was a good meet-up. =)at Sakae Sushi @ Sentosa...
we had a class outing on Sunday...whoever goes to the beach in the rain?! but we did. and it was quite fun...I was kinda expecting more people to be there actually, but oh well. good to see my friends whom I haven't met for a year. though the time I actually knew them for was really short, I'm glad they do kinda consider me as part of the class. thanks guys. =)at Tanah Merah MRT station...
um, what's this doing here I'm not sure. but yah. I think it's quite a nice photo, don't you think so? haha...just happened to have my camera ready and snapped this, didn't expect it to turn out quite nicely I must say. heh.Cyn, Jac, Rob, Est, Emu, Joel @ MRT
and let me present to you...*drum roll*...my birthday celebration crew! heh. =) we went to Little India for breakfast. my first time eating authentic Indian food other than roti prata. =P haha. I'm not a fan of spicy food...BUT at least I do like the taste of curry at the moment. trained throughout this year staying at my flat. haha...and oh, Est and I ordered what they called "rose milk", which was bandung. guess what? they put ginger pieces in there!!! I was like...how come there's such a weird after-taste. man...it was quite strange. I did finish it eventually though, cannot waste money. haha...though I didn't pay for my meal. thank you so much guys! I had a memorable morning with ya'll...=)on the way to church...
this is a random photo. =) I like. randomness.along Orchard Road...=)
last but not least, can you see this? looks familiar? heh. I saw something like that in NZ along George St before. and to see it in S'pore. WOW. =) it took me a while to gather up enough courage to go up to him to ask him why he was doing it. and his reply was that it's Christmas and they (him and another of his friend also doing it nearby) wanted to give hugs to people who needed them. =) and I gave him a hug. heh. honestly I think it's really brave for them to be doing what they do...anyway. yeah. this is just an update on my life. pictures tell a thousad words. so I don't have to write so much out. =) BUT this is not everything that's happening...so yah.
thank you to everyone who remembered my birthday!
