and so, yesterday (Sun) was my last official service at Elim Christian Centre, Dunedin. and I was glad that I could serve for one last time. =) did Powerpoint in the morning, and it was quite good, not too many mistakes. heh. but yeah, had to remind myself that serving was not about me but about God. and hmm...it was so many pple's last Sunday's! it's...sad that we would be leaving...but it's like, pple graduate and leave...I...have to leave even though I haven't graduated...oh well. sad but happy too? hmm...

on Sat was graduation for the Health Sciences students! I walked down George St with them...not that I would be graduating anytime soon, but yeah, it felt good. although they DO walk very fast! =S haha. it was such a nice day, a bit too hot to be wearing the regalia outside but yeah...God is good! and lots of photos, I'm only putting 1 up. =) I WILL be back for my turn in 3 years' time!!!
only Ah Gong graduated on Sat actually...heh.
and then on Fri was another nice day, so after playing badminton and lunch with Bibs from 12pm to 2ish then badminton again with Peter at 2.30, I decided to walk to the beach with Ruth at 4. man I was so tired! I didn't really sign up for so much exercise these few days!!! today I played my last touch rugby game (and it was only my 3rd time playing heh) and kicked the soccer ball around after that too! is there such a thing as over-exercising? haha...

Thurs night was Ah Ma and Ah Gong's engagement dinner!!! ok, Jess and Las. haha. the food was ok but I think it was more of a get-together than anything else. =) I think pple walking by Summer Palace that night must have been thinking, WOW SO MANY ASIANS! hahaha...BUT I embarrassed myself that night in front of so many pple...! went up to give an inpromptu speech and I didn't even last for 20secs!!! HAHA. it's funny now when I think back about it...but I didn't want to go up! I have stage fright, esp when I'm not prepared! =S but oh well. I redeemed myself in other ways, just not public speaking. =D ANYWAY. CONGRATULATIONS JESS AND LAS ONCE AGAIN!!! heh.

so yeah, that has been my past few days' activities. =) those of which I have photos of anyway. been either out in the sun or at the gym almost everyday the past few days, I'm quite enjoying it, at least I'm more active than before! haha. getting an uneven suntan at the same time too! =P yup...

I realised that I am quite comfortable not going online...cos I get so caught up with the online world I'm lost to reality. and I'm quite enjoying packing. at times. heh.
ANYWAY. 5 more days in Dunedin! then it's goodbye to my "home" for the past 4 years(!) and in less than a week's time I'll be back in Singapore. so fast...but when I leave and after graduation on Wed it means that I won't see some pple ever again...well, I'll hope to, but not for a long while...sigh. I dislike farewells. but that's just another fact of life I have to face. I shall be positive about it. =) I will make the most of the next few days!
