Psalm 23

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

Psalm 25:4-7

Joshua 1:5-9

1 Corinthians 15:51-54

51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."


Matthew 5:1-4

1 Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them saying:
3"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.


John 11:25-26

25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; 26 and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"


Revelation 21:1-4

1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

God, I pray that You will be with Veronica's family and friends in this time of mourning. only You can comfort them with your unfailing love. Lord, may Your hand reach out and touch everyone who knew Veronica in the short time that she spent on earth. heal their hurting hearts even as they grieve for the loss of a daughter, sister, cousin, niece, friend, and sister-in-Christ. thank You God for blessing us with her presence, her bright and cheery nature, and her devotion to You.

we will miss you Veronica. may you rest in peace. we'll meet again in eternity...
