sunshine?

it's almost the end of March now...has the sky turned brighter yet? I suppose it has. I guess one shouldn't let circumstances dictate one's mood, however it's hard not to be influenced by what's happening around oneself. the past few weeks have been a bit hard, but I hope the brunt of the storm is over by now. actually, I haven't been worried about what's been bothering me, cos it's just like...a passing thing, it didn't impact me that much (or I hope it didn't). besides, I had other things to think about too, like finishing up my short cases, writing up and refining my long case, interviewing patients and preparing for my Psych OSCE, learning as much as I could from my PMH run, etc. and it's all over now. a new attachment with General Practice, a new start. it's all good. =)

I had a fantastic Easter weekend here in CHCH too. really enjoyed the break, especially after finishing the PMH run, just relaxing before getting ready for a new run. it's nice hanging out with the girls. =) thank you all for just being there! and it was good to see some of the Dunedin pple up in CHCH over that weekend too! [note: the photos will probably go onto Facebook sometime soon-ish I hope! my apologies cos have to sort through and select the nicer and more 'proper' ones to put up. and if anyone wants the original photos, please contact me! probably will be helpful if you can pass me your thumb drives if you have one and I'll transfer the photos to you asap.]

and last but not least, while I'm in a positive mood and before I forget, I just want to say thank you to everyone who's been concerned about me over the past few weeks. letting you know that I appreciate you, and for now I'm coping well. thank you for the care that I've been showered with, that I don't deserve. thank you.
