waiting and trusting...

this is another photoblog...technically, I shouldn't be online and what-not, but yeah. I'll let the photos do the talking. these were taken yesterday when Vivos & Zoe went for our last lifegroup at the beach - a time of worship amongst God's creation. I'm just upset that I won't be with these people anymore next year. =( but for now, enjoy the photos...

on my way to church.
interesting clouds.
I don't know what the boys are doing...
interesting boys...
the 6 cars that brought us to the beach...
wonder why the red car is 'set apart'...
walking to a 'quiet' spot.
I love this shot.
gathering together for worship...
sing a new song to the Lord...
sitting and watching.
pray and believe...
Las, our wonderful worship leader.
you can see the passion...
this is what doing life together means.
group hug...
time to take group photos...this is random.
I was trying to be a bit extra...
Vivos, my lifegroup.
I'm gonna miss you girls...
Zoe, the guys' lifegroup.
candid shots are the best...

the guys before they 'ran' down...
ready, get set, go! oh wait...did everyone just run off?
Eddy being carted off.
thanks to all the jackets he didn't get thrown into the sea!

post-beach session: breakfast at Burger King.

table 1: couples - Rob & Eddy, Meits and Emu.
don't be exclusive!
table 2: boys - Dennis, Jian, Andrew, Derek, Ben.
only Jian is looking at the camera...!
table 3: couples - Fina & Joel, Ah Ma and Ah Gong.
smile!
table 4: girls - me, Jen, Ying, Est, Emi, Ariel.
aren't they all so sweet? =)
last but not least, cheesy Alastair smile...

well, those were good times...

last night was...a milestone in my spiritual life, I'd say. I just don't want it to be a once-only thing. when God impacts your life, it must really change your attitude, change your heart. or else there's not much point in anything at all.

today wasn't as good as I expected it to be. actually, I was expecting something like this. trust the devil to do whatever he can to steal me away from the right path. I just need to counteract this. I can't give in. I WON'T GIVE IN. help me God...

and just as I was thinking about things I wasn't supposed to be thinking about, the bible verse for today was: “I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.”- Psalm 40:8. is that just a coincidence? I don't think so.

God, if You say "No", I should listen to You...

do it out of obedience, not obligation.

hmm. back to studies now...
