across the tasman!

apologies for the lack of update for those who read my blog...it's the holidays you see. heh. =D enjoyed my past week in Melbourne, didn't do THAT much but it's nice to be able to get away from Christchurch, especially the cold. =P didn't document everything that I did and am not planning to, shall just leave a few photos for memories. (my sis is more hardworking and she's got everything typed out here. =D)

guess if you asked me what I did there I can tell you what we did the most: EAT! =P haven't had so much food in a week ever and don't think I should ever do that again...! everyday we ate until we were so full......haha. what indulgence.

Melbourne has quite a lot of nice structures. touristy/sightseeing type things...although we did spend some time walking around but yeah...don't think I'm THAT interested in walking around. rather be DOING something. but nice buildings and stuff though. good for taking photos. heh. =P

had the opportunity to attend my sister's church on Sun and lifegroup on Thurs. got to meet quite a few new people. though I must say I'm not one who opens up to strangers easily...find it a bit harder to carry on a conversation, don't know what to ask/talk about. probably easier to communicate with someone who is more talkative...but yup, they were a cool bunch of people! =)

it was good to be able to hang out with my sis too. at least we met after half a year instead of the usual yearly wait! and she got to be with me 24/7! lol ok maybe not for the whole of 7 days but literally 24 hours for almost a week, which is RARE. the last time would probably be when we were toddlers?!? and that's apart from the NZ trip last year when my mum and sis came over. hee. taking into account being away at school and what not too. that was GOOD! I do apologise for not being the best of travel companions at times though, I snapped at her more than a few times...=S sorry...but hope you enjoyed that week despite my...nonsense...

and last but not least the highlight of the holiday: watching WICKED!!! such an AWESOME MUSICAL! =D so good...definitely worth the tickets. the previous one I watched was Phantom of the Opera which was amazing too if I don't remember wrongly. PLUS that was staged in London and it must've been awesome! heh. =) maybe I'll start watching more musicals from now on...who knows! =P so good, so good, so good...

got back on Fri night and after a miscommunication regarding my pickup from the airport (sorry!!! =S) a few of us went for dinner and a movie. TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN! awesome movie, didn't even feel that it was too long! watched it on the new Xtreme Screen at Hoyts Riccarton too. Optimus Prime is so cool man. lol. and the action was good. =) I'm not much of a movie critic so yes, shall leave it at that!

well, as much as I've enjoyed my holiday, reality is, I'm back at classes tomorrow. from now on no more slacking or too much playing around. I have more important things to focus on...

wonder if I'll feel anything if you guys got together...?
