firstly I wanna say HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR to all!!!
yup, it's already into Day 5, but the festive mood is still there. even the news presenters on Channel 8 are still wearing their brightly coloured attire. =D hehe. well, there's like 15 days of it, unfortunately I won't be here till the end. BUT I don't want to go there...for now...anyway, it's been another good CNY, going around visiting relatives and doing the ang bao collection.CNY eve: enjoyed decorating the house in the morning. lots of pictures of little doggies everywhere around the house! haha. had reunion dinner at night, eating all the good food...yummy.
Day One: went to my maternal grandma's house to visit, managed to resist the temptation to gamble...! it's not good for me, gambling can become addictive. I'd rather play mahjong just for the fun of it...then went to visit quite a few other relatives around that area as well.

Day Two: stayed at home while relatives came to visit. had a great time during lunch, busying about making myself useful. KFC, Pizza Hut, Golden Pillow. whoa...it was much better than the buffet we've been having the past 2 years! haha...=P I don't have any photo to put up, cos I used my dad's camera! the quality is so much better, but the camera itself is SO HEAVY. I think it's becos of the lens. my hand started to cramp up after only taking a few photos. haha.

Day Three: got up bright and early to go Sentosa with my paternal grandparents to see the BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS! it was really amazing. so pretty, those flowers. God really has made everything wonderful in His sight.
we 'lao-ed' yu sheng at night. bought from NTUC, much cheaper than doing it at the restaurant. it was missing the fish itself, but that's ok cos no one liked the fish much anyway. =) whole family did the 'lao-ing', quite fun. hehe.

Day Four: met up with some of the TJ OAC pple for lunch, then went visiting some of the CG members. only reached home at around 9pm for dinner. oops. it was quite a good time though, back to my 'usual routine' since I decided to start serving the CG in this way.

Day Five: today was another busy day. met up with flatmate and potential flatmate for lunch. had wanton noodles. yum. haha. the meeting went well, in fact, both my flatmate and me were late for our appointments. hmm...but I hope the potential flatmate does consider this offer, he seems like quite a nice person. yup. praying about it. then met some CG members somewhere else around town, I insisted quite strongly that I should treat them all a drink. objection was quite unbearable, even my fellow helper wasn't doing much to help but I understand why and I forgive. finally they gave in, guess I can be stubborn at times. we sat down, I enjoyed my honeydew ice blended. ooh...so sweet! the 2 that we were visiting had to leave, so I was left with my fellow helper, I treated her to Famous Amos cookies. =) she's happy, I'm happy. sent her home on the train, then went back to town to meet yet another group of pple: my ex-badminton mates. seemed like we were confortable with each other when we talked, but it's been a whole year since I saw them! dinner was great. had Hainanese chicken rice, and Pulat Hitam (black glutinous rice) for dessert. I'm like eating all I can today. haha.

WOW. that's quite a lot of photos I blogged today. it's becoming what I'd prefer it not to be, a photoblog. guess cos there's been so many days I've been MIA, now show you guys some photos. just this once though, or whenever I have nice photos. yup. didn't put up any quotes today, so let's just end with one:
"Human beings solve problems,
but spiritual beings pre-empt them."

haha, it's kinda off cos my plan was to take 2 photos and link them together. my camera's not wide enough and the scene was just too nice. hehe.
