priorities.

it's shockingly close to my exams.
not a surprise, but almost.
you think you still have time...
but NO, you're running out of it;
too fast.

what are my priorities?

if I don't spend ALL my waking hours online,
will anything happen?
will I miss out on anything important?
I don't think so.
if I don't camp out playing online games,
will I lose out?
no.

so what if other people beat/surpass me?
the game will still be there a month later.
do I really NEED to play?
no.
yes I suppose it's ok to play for a few mins while taking a break,
but not waste time...

precious, precious time.

and I guess everything else will have to be put on hold too.
most of my time now revolves around school and studies...

hmm. had the overwhelming need to be hugged/comforted by an older brother when cycling home in the rain this evening. sadly the need was not able to be met and ended up with an irritable me when I got home. turned on music from Hillsong before I managed to calm down a while later...

but for the next few weeks, no more of these sort of thoughts. need to focus. looking forward to AFTER the dreaded EXCITING!!! exams...maybe while in Cambodia I'll find a nice guy. or even catch the eye of some Singaporean medical student/doctor, who knows. ;)

as for now...
