having a friend.

I guess in order to have a friend, you first need to BE one.
it's in this area that I fail miserably...
I'm too self-centred to care about others.
the taker in me has conquered the giver; defeated.

is this really who I've become?
cold and heartless?
what happened to that fire within?
did it go out when you tripped and fell?

all that seem to matter now is just studies.
and staying sane.
happiness, well, if it comes it comes.
friends...I know they won't come, because I have to go.
