out partying again!

hmm...got home earlier today, on the 9.30pm bus, so it’s not that bad. but I’m tired. all the energy lost from late nights have accumulated and now it’s time to catch up on my sleep. I can finally sleep in tmr! yay! how happy can I be? going for my homestay kid’s school fair at 11am, then catching the bus into town. and I’ll prob study for a while before going for G12 tonight. hehex. can’t wait. the week’s passed really fast though...

so what did I do tonight? went for the very first Foundation Year Alumni Party. yah. it was supposed to start at 6pm, obviously me and Rach aren’t accustomed to the ‘rules of the pub’ as in there’s no need to arrive on time. so we got there, and it wasn’t that there weren’t many pple there, there were, but all of whom I had no idea who they were. not from last year’s batch, so I wouldn’t know them. it was only from like 6.30plus onwards that pple we knew started coming. and then many more who did Foundation Studies last year came. well...there was free food, but what do you expect? they were having a sausage sizzle, and pieces of grilled lamb plus salad and all that. I only had 2 sausages, and then lots of wedges much later...surprisingly I felt quite full. especially after we left, I drank quite a lot of water, and I was bloated. must be the oil...=P

I think it was quite a good time this evening. actually, don’t know why I went. it’s more of meeting up with friends I usually see around campus than anything else. the thing is, only 2 out of my 5 tutors were there. my Math tutor, Bev had left for somewhere else, so had my English tutor, Maxine. what?!? didn’t know that, but yah...I mean, it’s like less than a year since I’ve left lah. oh well. and my Physics tutor, Helen wasn’t at the party. only my Chem and Bio tutors were present, and I didn’t even talk to Margaret or Vicki much either. I’ve seen Margaret around, so yah...it’s not like we have much to say anyway. and Vicki wasn’t around for most of my time in Foundation, she was off having her baby. you see, so there’s not really much I was there for except the free food, which turned out to be not much cos there were so many pple waiting. and taking lots of photos. =) hehe...my favourite hobby! it’s a good one, though pple do get annoyed with me. ah...I have nothing else to say in that aspect. hehe...

and do you know what I did after that? we left at 8.30, which was much later than we’d expected to stay initially, and me and Rach went to the Central library. not to study lah! it’s a Friday night, unlike last week, I was actually there studying. we borrowed a DVD to watch for around 40mins. and guess what DVD? Looney Tunes! haha...Bugs Bunny is so funny lah. it’s amazing how we laugh at their stupidity and lameness! but we were both exhausted and just laughed along though it was quite clear neither of us could focus on what we were watching that well. haha...

hey, it hailed in the afternoon today! after so long! fortunately for me, I was inside...in the nice and warm environment outside St David’s as usual. yah. but it hasn’t snowed at all this year! the weather forecast predicts for snow on Monday though...which I can’t really trust cos you can’t predict the weather to such accuracy for days that are still quite far away. oh well, we’ll see how it goes. it’ll be fun to play in the snow...even if just a bit. but it’ll be cold. *brr...*

hmm...I think that’ll be it. boy am I tired...need to plonk down in my bed and have a nice good rest. hope I won’t be online for too long tonight...

“one more day goes by with me still thinking...”
