yeah...so much for all the anticipation and the build-up to the excitement. the S'pore Club lunch in my opinion was quite a success, but I don't think we felt like we were celebrating National Day actually. hmm...that was the point of having this event, but it didn't seem like we went there for anything else except to EAT! haha...and I had my share of the food. yah...quite full now. =D which is good. I really had quite a lot to eat...let's see what I had, well, I'll try to remember what I ate. hehe...ok, I had fried bee hoon, which was absolutely delicious and cooked by Yiqian's mum; fried rice by Rachel's parents, both black- and white-coloured ones, hehe; then...chicken: chicken rice by Carol and crew, chicken nibbles by I think Grace, and fried chicken by me! I was quite surprised that pple commented that the chicken was nice to eat! haha...it would've been better if I fried it like this morning, then will be more crispy and not so cold. but it was still good, quite tasty actually. =) I can cook! haha...ok, other than that, I didn't have much else as the main courses. there were other dishes I think, either is I can't remember or I didn't eat. yah. plenty of dessert too: agar-agar, konyaku jelly (which I apparently missed out on!), green bean soup, and black glutinous rice (which I found extremely tasty and couldn't help but eat 2 bowls of it even after I felt so full!). hmm...I think there was more, but as I have an extremely short-term memory, I can't list it here! there were quite a lot of pple there too, which was good. and we actually showed a Phua Chu Kang VCD at first but after that watched the "Talking Cock Movie". so funny lah! we should watch it again some other time. oh by the way we're having a movie night on 26th Aug, and we're showing "I Do, I Do", a S'pore production. it's gold coin entry so yah, come along and have some fun!
alright, and now it's back to business. I'm going to spend the next, what...3 or 4 hours studying! whee~ it's fun, and I'm going to make myself concentrate on studying. saw from someone's nick on MSN that the Prelims are in 22 days time and the A's in 88 days. prob not everyone will have exactly the same start and end date, but it'll be around there. hmm...found out my exam timetable yesterday, and I end on 28th Oct! that means that I might be able to go back much sooner than was expected! and when I'm back, everyone's studying, so I can go out and have a good tan first before meeting all my friends! hehe. so fun...can't wait to be back in S'pore. but in the meantime, I'm going to have to study very hard. jia you!
yup, it's time to go again. I've got G12 tonight though, and that'll be a good break. yah...
