it's mid-week already.

time flies. and I haven't done much study. we had study group this morning, didn't really get like a whole lot done. hmm...we were supposed to start at 9am, Bel was a bit late, but Rach and me were using the com in the Central library so it was ok. after a while, off we marched to Room 116. and we have quite a lot to catch up with each other really...the 2 of them have been having study group on Mon and Tues without me...and I don't complain cos I've had a good break. and today I only got 2 lectures done. not even 2 actually, 1 and a bit. think I might do a bit more study later before going to bed. need to catch up...

as I was saying, we 'started' at around 9.30. but it was only at about 11 plus that we were settled down enough to study. ok, Bel is a very good multi-tasker, she was the only one really studying. me and Rach, well, as usual we were fooling around. and these 2 days it's been really fun to tease Rach. hehex. but guess after a while it's going to lose it's thrill and so we'll make good use of it. I keep on saying that she's dug a hole, and whatever she says I'll link it back to her digging a deeper hole. haha...it's fun lah. I decided to say some things too...=) I did it on purpose, I know what I say is going to bring comments. hehex. I wanna join in the fun!!!

ah well...so we didn't study much. having study group tmr morning again. this time round, we really have to study. left 4 more days of our hols and then it's back to class. oh, we 'locked' Rach outside the room for about 15 mins! hehex. so funny. and I think if anyone saw this they'll be thinking, "these pple are ridiculous!" haha. in a way I'll have to say that it was a childish thing to do, but we have our own kind of fun. doesn't matter what pple say sometimes. we're not doing anything bad what. and I realised we all talk really loudly...and laugh even louder too! the walls are not soundproof...and we might have distracted pple. sorry folks! hehe...

and then at 2pm, we left for our original destination of The Warehouse at the other end of town. so we walked along, it was quite a chilly day today, though the sun was out. yah. we stopped by...the first shop...Hydro. Bel bought a miniskirt! hehex. I cannot imagine myself wearing it, so we shan't even go there! haha...I was pondering whether to get a bag that was on sale for $29 only! originally $49.95 I think. but then I LOVE my Deuter bag. I bring it EVERYWHERE I go! so yah. no point buying something I'm not using. the next shop...Stirling Sports. I saw this jacket, super nice. originally $89.95 but there was a 40% discount so I'll have to pay around $54 for it. but I didn't buy it!!! and I wanna go back and get it but it's so expensive!!! now that I have money to spend, I don't know if I should use it to buy the things I want to get. argh. it looks nice and is quite thick, but it's quite ex. still unsure if I should get it. hmm...

ok, third stop...Kmart. got a bag of chips and a packet of lollies. we then sat down at one of the nice comfy seats in the Golden Centre mall while we rested our tired feet (the 3 of us really can't shop!) and me and Bel ate some chips. by then it was already 3-something and we were exhausted. hehex. but we still carried on cos we were far from our destination! and so the next shop we walked into was...the socks shop. Bel got 2 pairs and bed socks and I bought 1 pair. 3 for $8.95 what. it's SO nice to touch! haha. so soft! and we walked through the $2 shop, looking at stuff. tempted to buy so many things! but I didn't. good on me...

and then we reached our fifth stop, the one I had wanted to go into since last week or the week before...Otago Sports Depot. and guess what? I finally got my Adidas t-shirt!!! for $19.95 which I think is reasonable for a branded top. looks cool to me. but I think I've got enough tops! and it's white! again! oh well. who ask me to like white tops so much. except for white jackets, cos they get dirty really easily. yah. after that we were really really tired already. hehe. we really can't go shopping! and finally we walked to...The Warehouse. phew. I think we spent quite a long time in there...more than 30 mins. I got a pair of nice fluffy blue bedroom slippers!!! and also a pair of what's that called? can't remember...uh, it's the 'shoes' you wear into the water. aquashoes? ok, that doesn't sound correct. nevermind. I got that and Blue's Guilty CD which was on sale. in total spent less than $15! about 1/3 for each item. which is good cos when I usually go to The Warehouse I'll spend heaps. don't know why, it's just that somehow I'll have stuff to buy. hmm...

I got home on the 6.10pm bus. was quite surprised that there were quite a number of pple on the bus. hmm...I was just thinking, there are quite a few Asians staying out my way, in homestays probably. and they come here to learn English, so they don't usually stay for long. so I see some faces on the bus for a certain period of time, then it's another face some other time. as for me...I go to uni. I'm not here to study English...but no one knows that I guess. oh well. what difference does it make? at least the discrimination is not that bad here...thank God for that. hmm...

anyway, I realised I've only got 2 more months in my homestay and 2 more months till I go home. which means that I've got 2 months less 10 days to my exams! it's shocking, this limited time frame. this year is passing so much more quickly than last year. partly becos of the amount of new things that I've got to learn and the shorter time that I've got to do it in. stop complaining and get down to it!!! argh. it's frustrating when I just can't seem to settle myself down to study. there's always so many other things to do...

ok, this tunred out to be a very long post. sorry for the long-windedness pple, if you've managed to read till the very end, which is here. hehe. =) thanks for taking the time to read. yup. guess I should do a bit of work before my eyes close...which they are already doing so now...*yawnx*...
