haha...just counted. time for a big celebration yah? haha...nah, I'm just bored. it's a Friday afternooon, I'm standing at the St David e-stop with my heavy bag on my shoulders (I wonder why I don't put it down, it's like carrying gold bars on my back!) and passing time by wasting it. thought I'd go to the Science Lib of North CAL to use the com, but then saw these e-stops, well, I walked over looking for a place to sit where I could have my lunch and saw this free com, so yah...I've been here for prob around almost 30mins? ridiculously carrying my bag which I still don't want to put down cos I'm too lazy to. and I haven't had my lunch! what?!? I don't know what I'm doing. after this, I'm going to have my lunch, then...um, go find the International Office again. you know, I need to check out my immunity status for so many diseases by 2007 if I'm going to go into Med sch. so far I still need for Hep B and Hep C by 1st Oct this year, but I also need for next year the rest of the diseases stated in yesterday's post. and I found out what varicella is...it's chickenpox! haha...I think I got it when I was 2, so I should be immune, shouldn't I? but I still need to go for blood tests to make sure! as you know, I don't have the CSC, so there's no discount...and I went to the Blood Lab to ask about the prices...and guess what? I'll have to spend $138.72!!! it's totally ridiculous! if it's just for the Hep B and C it's $40, but they have to send some over to the Christchurch lab to test for measles, mumps and varicella! I don't know what I'm going to do already...so expensive...
well, I shouldn't take up so much time at the e-stop, it's meant for "short tasks such as email, printing assignments" and "in fairness to others, please keep your sessions short". wow. how short is short? hmm...doesn't seem to be anybody around waiting for a computer, so I shall continue. hehe...ok, I had Biochem lab this morning, it was quite fun working with my partner, Jacqueline...she's aiming for Med too. but it's like most pple are PRs...hmm, it's good cos they get subsidised for lots of things...like school fees and medical stuff. oh well. yah...Bioc lab...had exit test, which was easy, I have to say. =) not that bad lah...yah. the lab itself, we did gel permeation chromatography! quite fun. yup. yeah...learning's supposed to be fun, I'll make myself enjoy it anyway. yah. then had Bio lect, and I almost fell asleep. so tired! crap. hope I can stay awake tonight, we're celebrating Krystal's half-birthday. apparently it was supposed to be a surprise, but she knows it already. haiyah. never mind. looking forward to see my G12...
alright. I still shouldn't take up so much time here. you know that "this area is under video surveillance at all times"? hehe. whatever. what's with me quoting everything I see? talking about quoting, my Bio lecturer says quite a lot of interesting things, which I take down instead of notes. hehe...today he was talking about cytokines, and he said, "go forth and multiply, or stop multiplying" and yesterday it was "nature is a harsh master sometimes". wow. how cool is that? haha...(ok, I've finally put down my bag cos I was searching for my lect notes to find the quotes. haha...) and all he was talking about was the immune system! hehe...I know I'm weird, but when used in a different context, what he says is true too. hmm...an interesting thing is that I don't even know his name...wow...
hmm...it's about 1.30pm already. I'll have to eat my lunch then study for...uh, 2 hrs? till my Biochem lect. I need to study. so stressed. no, I'm not stressed about studies. I'm stressed about seeing other pple stress about their studies. I hope I made sense. hmm...
