bl.oo.d.

hmm...my arm's sore. took off the tape and cotton wool they put after they drew out a tube of blood like less than 10mins after they put it on. the actual process doesn't hurt, ok, so the needle is quite sharp (duh) and not so thin. but I didn't look. felt the pain though. can't complain, it's just a tiny prick. but I did look once the needle was in. freaky. see a metal piece poking out from your arm. haha. I'm not sadistic. but I watched as the blood spurted out. a few seconds, then it was over. hmm...now that I've gotten it over and done with, I don't want any more pain for a while...any type of pain. world, leave me alone, don't burden me with your sorrows...

the lady was nice. only poked me once. heard of stories where the needle was jabbed in a couple of times cos the person couldn't find the vein. is it vein? mine is like so obvious, but she didn't poke it into the vein. must be some other one, not the one that is visible just below the surface. hmm...but I'm fine. must do another one next year though. this time I only got it tested for Hep B and C. IF I get into Med, then must test for quite a few others. and I realised that even Physio students need to get the same tests done as Med students...and they're starting a day after Med students next year instead of a week after! hmm...so I'm going to be back quite early in 2006, prob leaving S'pore on 12th Feb. wow...thinking about next year already. so fast...

ok, so this week is my holiday. got some time to study. the terms test is looming up. 12 more days to study. and 53 days to my finals. AHhhh!!! but come on, I only have 3 papers. no English. hmm...I must learn to stop complaining. hmm...

alright. I think it's time for me to get to work. no more slacking around...

"and so I go along in my daily life, thinking about you..."
