on the other side.

life doesn't seem so bleak;
life has it's good moments;
life can bring along friends;
life can be filled with happiness.

can't see the dark clouds,
can't see the passing rain,
can't see the upcoming storm,
for now the only thing I see is the rainbow.

my life is not that bad;
medical school is not that bad;
psych is not that bad (we shall see about that);
being alive is not that bad.

if only I'd just take a look around me,
I can see that I'm not alone in this,
why focus on me, myself and I,
when I should be a positive influence to others?
