she rambled on.

another day at Hillmorton...it was okay. what else can I say? my consultant came back from her 2 week leave so the whole day was spent catching up with patients. my colleague and I managed to not be able to sit in with 1 patient and 1 family meeting because the first patient didn't want us and the second meeting was just overcrowded. OH WELL.

on the bright side though I think I've managed to get myself a Maori patient to interview and write up for my assignment. :)

today was quite an icy day. my registrar fell while cycling to work this morning, she turned up a bit late grazed and bruised with possibly a fractured rib. one of my friends skidded on the way biking to the hospital and sustained some bruises too. SO SCARY. I myself biked to Hillmorton. there was one instance when I felt my bike sort of slip a bit but thankfully I didn't fall. I guess it's due to my markedly reduced speed at which I travel. :)

anyway. I saw 2 rainbows yesterday. what with the emo weather, rain, sun, clouds, etc etc etc repeating itself. light splitting via the prism of the raindrops. physics at work in nature.

hmm nothing much exciting really. went jogging this evening. can't make it through 1 and a half rounds...can only do 1 and 1/4 rounds. haha. feeling the side effects of exercise though, muscles aching quite badly! I want to exercise to get myself fit but need to make sure I'm not too garang and injure myself. heh.

I'm actually REALLY sleepy at the moment. maybe it's my bed time...
